Better Transit Without Trolleys is a coalition of residents and businesses in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA. Since forming in 2001, we have opposed the proposal to operate Light Rail Vehicles on Route 39, specifically on the narrower streets, Centre and South Streets, due to adverse impacts on both transit riders and others. Instead, we have proposed a series of improvements to bus Route 39, service from Forest Hills Station to Back Bay. In addition to current postings, see the summary status of our proposals.
